About Vedh Academy

Vedh Academy brought the eagerness in Shooting.

The youngsters residing in the suburb are looking for becoming the shining stars in Shooting Competitions held at National and International levels. In Ramanand Nagar Vedh Rifle and Pistol Shooting Academy is providing coaching for Shooting Competitions, which is leading to success of athletes at National and International level.

International Athlete and Shiv Chatrapati Award Winner Radhika Rohit Hawldar- Barale had setted a small range for her self-practice. Some parents approached her for providing coaching in Rifle and Pistol Shooting for their children. Agreeing on the parents wish Radhika started Vedh Rifle and Pistol Shooting Academy, in Ramanand Nagar, Shahu Colony in the year 2015.

Initially the range was established with a 5 lane range. After the starting of range within 5 months timespan Vaishnavi Vijay Padalkar won a Gold Medal in Air Weapon Championship held in Mumbai.

This was the first medal of the academy. In the same year at the School National Games Sakshi Kole and Viraj Rokade also won the medals. Later the academy was shifted near Ramanand Nagar bus stop. Within 3 years under the guidance of Radhika athletes received lots of medals and recognitions. Athlete Shahu Mane received a Bronze Medal in Asian Air gun Competition held at Japan. This was the first International achievement of the academy. In the same year he got more 7 medals in the National Championship held in Kerala. In Khelo India Competition he received a Gold Medal. In School National Championship within 3 years Shahu Mane, Samarth Mandlik, Aditya Salokhe, Ruturaj Yadav, Sakshi Kole, Viraj Rokde, Viraj Patil and Gauri Kamat received medals and recognition for their success. In Maharashtra State Shooting Championship Shraddha Desai got Gold and Maithili Koparde got 2 Bronze Medals. Winning a Gold Medal in youth, junior and senior category Samarth Mandlik brought laurels to the academy.

Coaching at Vedh academy from Rohit Hawaldar and Radhika Hawaldar with modern equipments and techniques is being helpful for the athletes in the suburbs, says Sandeep Kadam, Resident, Ramanand Nagar.
